Learn how to compost your pumpkin and prevent waste this Halloween. 

Each year, countless pumpkins are thrown away in black bins when they could be composted at home to build soil health and boost biodiversity. This workshop will cover the benefits of composting for your garden and wider environment. You will learn how to choose and site a compost bin, what ingredients to put in it, how to mitigate problems with composting, and how and when to use compost. There will be an opportunity to look at the creatures in the compost under the microscope. We will also give a brief overview of waste more generally in ÌÇÐÄvlog, and ways of reducing waste and recycling.
